Abstract

Comparison of Yield on eight Commercial Oil Palm at Ten Years old in Acid Sulfate Soils. In the oil palm Technology Development for Commercial Bio-diesel Industry in newly planted area Project (OPTD) at Nong Moo Subdistrict, Wihan Daeng District, Saraburi Province. Using a randomized complete block design (RCBD) experiment, In the spacing 9 x 9 x 9 m, 3 repetitions of 8 varieties, including Suratthani 2 (ST2), Suratthani 3 (ST3), Suratthani 4 (ST4), Suratthani 5 (ST5), Suratthani 6 (ST6), Univarnish (UNI), Uti (UTI) and Goldentenera (GT) cultivars were recorded according to the Corley and Breure method (1998). Oil palm bunch weights were recorded. For every harvest cycle from January 2020 to December 2020. The results showed statistically significant difference between groups of Varieties. Highest fresh fruit brunch Suratthani 2 was significant in bunch number per plant per year with an average 8.15 (brunch/plant/year) However, there was not statistically significant different of varieties in fresh fruit bunch and average bunch weight.
