Abstract

Growth phase comparison And yield composition of rice under different size of the planting hole. The experiment was planned in the Split Plot in Completely Randomized Design, 3 repetitions, and assigned the pot size to be the main plot, which consisted of 4 sizes: 1) large pots (23 x13.4 x7.4 cm.) 2). Small pots (size 7.2 x 5.5 x 6.7 cm.), 3) large pit trays (size 3.5 x2.3 x 4 cm.) And 4) small pit trays (size 2.4 x1.1 x4 cm.). Rice varieties are experimental units. There are 3 sub-plots: 1) Pathum Thani 1, 2) Kor 43 and 3) Kor 61. The results of the study of the growth of rice under different hole sizes showed that planting of the 3 varieties of rice in a small hole tray (size 2.4 x1.1 x 4 cm) was able to accelerate the harvesting period faster. The number of shoots per plant was significantly different. In which the rice varieties Pathumthani 1, Kor 43 and Kor 61 grown in large pots had the highest number of shoots per clump The number of shoots per clump was 10, 15 and 11, respectively, which differed from growing in small pots, large pit trays and small pit trays. In addition, rice cultivation in different pits resulted in significantly different yields per plant. In which the rice varieties Pathumthani 1, Kor 43 and Kor 61 grown in a large pot had the highest yield per plant. The yield weight per plant was 20.62, 22.07 and 13.26 grams, respectively, which differed from growing in small pots, large pit trays and small pit trays.
