The determination of the chlorophyll content in plant leaves is very important. It is an important substance in plants that receives light energy from the sun. To be used to generate energy in the photosynthesis process to generate organic matter such as sugar, the important constituents of chlorophyll contain the element nitrogen (N), so if the soil is deficient in nitrogen, plants will lack chlorophyll. to reduce the photosynthesis of plants. The plant has little growth. The stunted stems, kink leaves, if they are absent, will cause the plant to stop growing and die. Normally, chlorophyll measurement is performed using a chlorophyll meter. A spectrophotometer will first extract plant tissue. This method not only damages plant leaves but also leaves plants. But it is also time-consuming and costly. Therefore, in this research, the objective to study the relationship between chlorophyll measurement in cassava leaves with a chlorophyll meter and with a chlorophyll meter. This research will study the 5-month-old Rayong cassava plants, starting with the chlorophyll meter measuring from the complete leaf from the first leaf to the last leaf. The chlorophyll meter is not a direct determination of the chlorophyll in the leaf. But it was only the determination of green leaf cyanosis. Therefore, the equation for chlorophyll a chlorophyll b obtained by using the absorbance meter at week 3 was used to calculate the simple regression equation by Microsoft excel program and use it as a reference for using the machine. Chlorophyll meter That is used to measure each week from the test results, it was found that the linear equation, the correlation coefficient (R²) was equal to 0.5855, showing that there was a correlation, in the same way, called a positive correlation. It was also used to measure the greenness of cassava varieties Rayong 9 and Huay Bong 80 in the experimental plots at Huay Bong Tapioca Development Institute.
