Abstract

Induction of embryogenesis from normal cells It is a method used to create Somatic embryo (SE) cells for mass propagation and can be used to transfer genes to develop genetically modified plants. In the part of cassava, cutting stems in the growing tissue consisting of cornea to increase the amount (Stem cutting propagation) is still limited. In addition, the large number of plants by somatic embryogenesis may be a good alternative to cassava. In addition, the aforementioned methods have not been studied in Thai cassava varieties. And lack of information about Somatic embryo activation, growth time, etc. The objective of this study was to study the somatic embryonic stimulation ability of 6 cassava strains: KU50 varieties, Huai Bong 80 varieties, Rayong 1 varieties, Vw varieties, HNT varieties and MBNR475 varieties. Cassava is cultured and cut off the growth tissues consisting of buds to feed on the food to stimulate the axillary bud and then transferred to the food. That is used to stimulate the somatic embryo Takes about 6 months to experiment with all 6 cassava strains can stimulate somatic embryos. From the study, it was found that HNT cassava varieties were the most effective in stimulating somatic embryos, followed by Vw and Huai Bong 80 respectively, where the results and useful information could be used to increase The quantity of cassava cassava stem by embryogenesis from somatic cells and can be used for breeding by biotechnology.
