The objective of this study was to select high-yielding and stable peanut lines by yield testing at the farmer’s fields in the Northern and Central region totally 12 field trials. The treatments were of 14 peanut line/verities consisting of 10 lines developed by the Department of Agronomy as follows KUP11002-2 KUP11231-3 KUP11S1-1 KUP12BS018 KUP12BS022 KUP12BS038 KUP12BS067 KUP13W026 KUP13W034 and KUP13W089, and four check varieties including Tainan 9, KhonKaen 84-8, Kasetsart ARDA 1 and Kasetsart KohKae 40. Each experiment was laid out in a randomized complete block design with three replications. The data including pod yield, shelling percentage, harvest index, 100 seed weight, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per plant, number of seeds per pod and seed weight per plant were recorded for each line/verity. The pod yield of line/verities were conducted for stability analysis using WAASB method. The results showed that genotype and environment were significant, meanwhile G x E interaction was also found for all traits. The lines KUP11231-3 KUP11S1-1 and KUP12BS022 had both high pod yield and stable. They may be selected as a recommended variety or used as a germplasm peanut breeding for improving yield and good adaptability.
